Favorite project all year?
Had to be the fish assignment for me. Reason I say this is because it was one of the first projects that introduced me to illustrator, and what I could do.

Caricature

People who inspire me
Well....as strange as this may seem, the only being that has ever inspired me was the fictional character Optimus Prime. Call me crazy, but even though he's a fictional character, he has all the qualities of a good leader. He knows just how to get the job done. I've always fought arguments with logic and patience, and for some strange reason, I always fall back to Optimus Prime. I can't really explain it either.

Homework 5/1/12
I notice that there is a lighter contrast that the newer comics use than the older ones. They rely more on white.
They also use a different kind of layering as you can tell.
From my point of view, the older comics look like they have more detail in the facial expressions than the ones of today.

Surrealism ideas
Something you wouldn't see out in the open huh?
Well, my crazy idea would be a giant bird with the body of a plane being driven by a colorful pony underwater with spongebob's pineapple in the background along with a bunch of other random objects just to fill the screen up.
